Back from my first match at USPSA

Started early morning, got up at 5 AM prepared my gear and by 6AM was on my way loaded gas and got a couple water bottles for the day (was not enough day was 82-85 F.

There was a good team of people at the range all seasoned USPSA in diferent levels, I went ahead and shot on Production based on my gun specification GLOCK 35:

Glock
17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37(L models are not approved) C models are allowed providing that the barrel is non-ported and the other requirements are met.

Now the main problem I encountered was with small targets right in front of me, for some reason I missed all my front targets and almost none of the ones that were in angle I am still wondering what was the cause but I will get to practice more on those problems

Reloads were fast and had no problems with rules, there where 4 courses very well identified the experience of the range masters was great and made all the procedure an easy task, I got invited for next shooting the 12th of July and this time I will be more prepared:

Problems:

  • Shooting straight small targets inaccurate.

  • Problems managing weak hand.

  • Slight problem with the safety on my G35 it gave me problems on Course #1 with my first shot, after that it was flawless.

On Rifle:

  • Need to Sight it precisely to 100 yard.
I want to say thank you to Todd Jarret for his video it fixed my left drive trigger finger problem which was sending most of my shots to the left of the target, I will post the link for those that may require same advice:

I am very happy with the ammo used, it was clean and performed perfectly with the gun, definitely I will consider using the same ammo in the future.

I was reading some reviews for this 165grain bullets and some were not that good, if you are shooting single stack pistols I have no clue what will be the result, so far on my Glocks this ammo performs like a charm.
