August 23rd.

Mark S. posted a new email and we are invited to the match on August 23rd.
It will be nice to see all that people again.
During this month I aimed my AR-15 now I have it on target with both, short and long scopes (I will be using laser on the close targets) and optics fot the far ones.
Mark said something about Ottom for this match , I guess then it will be October or so.
Anyway I am ready.
My guns are clean and well oiled for the match.
I have same ammo ready once I enjoyed shooting the Federal rounds last month, even price falls into the category of what I can shoot.

Issues:

Last match I had several issues with shooting to front targets, meaning that my gun may be off-set a bit, I will check that with the bore-sight today and see where I am with the aim.

Fixes: I went to the range with a boresight and found my problems, previous owner of the Glock35 compensated hist trigger action with a change on the sight, my bad! I should have checked my sights way before even starting with that gun, never mind never late to fix.

Got a message from the coordinator for my area:

Saturday Aug. 23 will be our next USPSA match at RR&RC. There will be four stages with a total round count of 85. Two of the stages will be interesting, high round count assault courses. All times will remain the same with the shooters meeting starting at 8:54 and first shots fired at 9:00am.

There is some bad weather predicted for Friday and Saturday from the storms moving towards the east coast so keep an eye on your email for last minute updates.

See you at the range!

Guess I will be there if the weather allows it.
